Meet Kenyele

Birmingham, Alabama

Hey y’all, I’m Kenyele Harrison. Kenni, if you know me from the internet. Little Girl, if you’re my momma.

I’m a certified Pilates instructor, the founder of Kenetic Wellness, and Southern Belle through and through.

In June 2021, I took my first Pilates class. I walked in expecting a workout. I walked out understanding how to really use my body.

I grew up in Fayette, Alabama — a small town where "move a little daily" was something the doctor said, not something anybody did. After years in direct patient care and corporate wellness, I found the thing that connected it all: Pilates.

Now I teach it the way I wish someone had taught me — with patience, honesty, and a whole lot of Southern hospitality. Your body deserves someone who listens to it.

That’s where Kenetic comes in.

THE ORIGIN OF
KENETIC WELLNESS: Pilates for Public Health

After 500 hours of training and an advanced certification from The Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado, I was ready to share Pilates through a different lens: public health.

The name? That's a play on my grandparents' names, Kenneth & Carrie, and a statement of belief: wellness can be genetic. What you do for your body today echoes through your family for generations.

But I knew that if Pilates stayed inside expensive studios, it would never reach the people who actually needed it most.

So I took it outside.

I'm teaching free classes all over. At the Birmingham Museum of Art. At Red Mountain Park and Ruffner Mountain. My partnerships are with organizations committed to making wellness accessible.

"I knew that if I was going to actually be for the community, I had to get out into the community."

I follow up. Every time.

The Kenetic Client (Yep — that's you.)

The entrepreneur who hasn't taken a real break in months — and whose body is keeping score.

The executive whose stress lives in their shoulders. You carry a lot. Let's make sure your body can handle it.

The corporate team that deserves better than a wellness poster in the break room.

.

The busy professional who keeps saying, "when things slow down," knowing full well they won't.

The everyday hero (hi, Mom) who puts everyone else first. and forgot what it feels like to be taken care of

Whether you’re preparing for game day, recovering from a 60-hour work week, or leading a company through its next chapter — your body is your most valuable asset. It’s time to show up for it.
