About Kenetic Wellness
Intentional movement for people who want their bodies to keep up with their lives—rooted in Birmingham, serving movers everywhere.

MEET KENYELE
Birmingham, Alabama
Hey y'all, I'm Kenyele Harrison, Kenni if you know me from the internet, and Little Girl if you're my momma.
I'm a certified Pilates instructor, the founder of Kenetic Wellness, and Southern Belle through and through. After graduating from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, I started my career in direct patient care, transitioned to corporate wellness, and was eventually blessed with the opportunity to bridge my passion for health and wellness with Pilates.
In June 2021, I took my first class. I walked in expecting a workout. I walked out understanding how to use my body for the first time. As someone who played many sports growing up, this was the first time I felt like an athlete.
Finally, I felt my body getting stronger without "fighting through the pain", and thought: this is where I need to be. Not just for myself, for the folks back home.
I grew up in Fayette, a small Alabama town north of Tuscaloosa, where healthy food options were not always the topic of discussion, and the doctor's advice to move a little daily was just something said, not done. That's where Kenetic comes in: making wellness the town's #1 gossip.

THE ORIGIN OF
KENETIC WELLNESS
After 500 hours of comprehensive training, in addition to an advanced certification from The Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado, I was finally ready to share the value of Pilates through a difference lense: Public Health
The name is a play on my grandparents' names, Kenneth and Carrie, and a statement of belief: wellness can be genetic. What you do for your body today echoes through your family for generations.
But I knew that if Pilates stayed inside expensive studios, it would never reach the people who needed it most.
So I took it outside.
Free classes at CityWalk. At the Birmingham Museum of Art. At Red Mountain Park and Ruffner Mountain. Partnerships with organizations committed to making wellness accessible—not exclusive.
"I knew that if I was going to actually be for the community, I had to get out into the community."

The Kenetic Client (That's you!)
The entrepreneur who hasn't taken a real break in months. You're building something. Your body is how you'll sustain it.
The executive whose stress lives in their shoulders. You carry a lot. Let's make sure your body can handle it.
The corporate team that deserves better than a wellness poster. Real movement. Real results.
Real investment in your people.
The busy professional who keeps saying, "When things slow down." Things don't slow down. You know this.
The everyday hero (Hi, Mom.) who puts everyone else first
It's time to show up for yourself, too. Whether you're preparing for game day, recovering from a 60-hour work week, or leading a company through its next chapter, your body is your most valuable asset.
